Get ready for a season opener !!

Last year I think due to weather we ended up running our first event of the season at HMAC, and it was a really good day, central for most people to get to, and a great way to kick off the season.

So we are doing it again.

This is a one day event, on the Saturday, at HMAC.

Pick your favourite class. Eg you might decide you want to fly Sportsman IMAC, or you may think nah, I want to fly some pattern instead, so have a go at Expert Pattern. Or you could be keen on just doing some Classic ?

At a one day event, there is only enough time for people to fly in one class each.

When you register please put the preference of what you want to fly in order, and we will figure out what works. Eg 1. Clubman Pattern. 2 Basic IMAC.

BTW – We have a longer runway at HMAC now, so you can land even further past yourself, and run off into the long grass. But the runway is still the same width, which seems to catch a few people out.

And …. FYI … on the Sunday right after is the Club Float Plane Day at a Lake just north of Hamilton. So if you are into that, why not do both ? Its a lot of fun.

Last thing, the field has been pencilled in for the following Saturday (10th Oct) as a rain date. So keep that in mind.
