DESCRIPTION:Thats right\, it’s time to Rumble !!! \nDown in the Bay at Awatoto. Home of Model Flying Hawkes Bay. \nThe aerobatics scene has been growing nicely of late\, and as will now be running a NZ Masters for Pattern in January\, the Awatoto Rumble is going to revert back to being an IMAC only event. \nThis means more time to get the IMAC flying through\, and it also means more time for flying Unknowns !! At its highest point of attendance we flew the Rumble over three days\, and had a round of unknown each day. Thats right\, 3 unknowns !!! Meant you got to drop one. \nSo mark this one on the fridge now\, its the usual “last weekend in February” timing\, which is a little earlier than usual due to the way the weekends fall in Feb 2025. \nWe’ve had some really good events at Awatoto\, so make sure you get to this one. \nIt’s a 3 day event\, the flying will start on Friday morning. \nCamping at the field as per usual. Mobile shower will be operational. Or you can rough it at a local motel. \nMore info closer to the time.
