SUMMARY:Classic & Clubman Aerobatics @ Hamilton MAC
DESCRIPTION:Got a classic model ? \nClassic Pattern Day at Hamilton MAC. \nYou can find the Classic Schedule and all the rules on the Downloads page. Classic is pre 1984 … but if you’ve got an Aurora\, we won’t turn you away. On the other hand\, if you have a 2025 Proteus 2m F3A model\, I hope you are good at flipping burgers !! \nNow if the Classic Schedule is a bit too much for you\, just have a go at flying Clubman instead\, you can do this with your Classic model. Actually Clubman is open to any type of model\, a low wing sport model is perfect\, doesn’t have to be a true classic\, even a foamy can fly Clubman. \nSponsored By www.HangarOneKits.com … some cool prizes on the day. \nWe want you to really get into the spirit of this\, so turn up in your full on 1960s / 1970s classic gears. I’m talking Cheese cutter hat. Flared Pants. Polyester Jacket. That faded Futaba Hat you used to wear. Dust it off\, or get down to the opp shop. \nYou might also notice we have cleverly scheduled this one in Hamilton the day before the Tauranga MAC Auction\, so you can do this one on the way. Plenty of local accommodation available\, just get in touch.

SUMMARY:Combined Aerobatics @ Hamilton MAC
DESCRIPTION:Get ready for a season opener !! \nLast year I think due to weather we ended up running our first event of the season at HMAC\, and it was a really good day\, central for most people to get to\, and a great way to kick off the season. \nSo we are doing it again. \nThis is a one day event\, on the Saturday\, at HMAC. \nPick your favourite class. Eg you might decide you want to fly Sportsman IMAC\, or you may think nah\, I want to fly some pattern instead\, so have a go at Expert Pattern. Or you could be keen on just doing some Classic ? \nAt a one day event\, there is only enough time for people to fly in one class each. \nWhen you register please put the preference of what you want to fly in order\, and we will figure out what works. Eg 1. Clubman Pattern. 2 Basic IMAC. \nMore info closer to the date. \nBTW – We have a longer runway at HMAC now\, so you can land even further past yourself\, and run off into the long grass. But the runway is still the same width\, which seems to catch a few people out. \nAnd …. FYI … on the Sunday right after is the Club Float Plane Day at a Lake just north of Hamilton. So if you are into that\, why not do both ? Its a lot of fun. \nLast thing\, the field has been pencilled in for the following Saturday (10th Oct) as a rain date. So keep that in mind. \n
